Throat swab, sputum, endotracheal tube aspirate, preferrably nasopharyngeal aspirate (NPA) or bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), and biopsy. Require transport media. Refrigerate samples until transport to Lab. DO NOT FREEZE.
Specimen Storage/Transport

​Refrigerate sample at 2-8oC until transfer to laboratory. 

Do not freeze sample.

Send Smaples on ice pack to laboratory.
