Specimen Container	Screw cap containers or plastic bags properly sealed.
Specimen Requirement	Specimen must be completely immersed in 10% buffered formalin, preferably fill the container to about 90%. Tissue should not occupy more than 20% of specimen bottle. For larger specimens, plastic bags should be used and tissue immersed in formalin at least 3 times the volume of tissue. Fresh specimen to be send without formalin if special studies is required. Prior arrangement with laboratory must be made.
