Adult: 5 mL
Paediatric: 1.3 mL

Urine Creatinine - 10 mL (Second void morning urine specimen)
Urine Phosphate - 10 mL (Second void morning urine specimen)

Please note that concentrations of phosphate in blood and urine generally increase after a meal. Blood (serum) specimen should be drawn after at least 8 hours of fasting if possible. Second void morning urine specimen should be collected and sent together with blood specimen to the laboratory as soon as possible.
