Note: Clean-catch urine collection for female: 1. Wash hands with soap and water. 2. Wipe urethra opening and vaginal vestibule area with gauze pads soaked with liquid soap. 3. Rinse these areas thoroughly with water or wipe with wet gauze pads. 4. Separate labia during voiding. 5. Do not collect first few mL of urine, collect midstream portion. |
