Specimen is not to be collected on Friday after 2pm, Saturday, Sunday, eve of public holidays and public holidays.
Keep specimen at room temperature. DO NOT send on ice or refrigerant. Despatch to KKH DPLM Client Services as soon as possible as blood must reach NUH Paediatric Allergy & Immunology Lab before 5pm.
If specimen cannot be transported within same day of collection, to spin and separate the plasma and store at 4°C before the next transport is available.
