Patient should abstain from the following at least 2 days prior to and during urine specimen collection: - intake of food like chocolate, coffee, banana, food containing vanilla, citrus fruits and - medically possible, drugs such as aspirin, Aldomat, isoproterenol, labetalol, mandelamine and metocloproamide. If the patient cannot be completely removed from a drug regimen, test results should be interpreted with appropriate judgement based on expected physiological response to these drugs.
