Specimen Requirement

Whole Blood EDTA 
Adults/ Paediatric: 3 ml

Product of Conception* 
a. for termination of pregnancy - amniotic sac, chorionic villi
b. for autopsies - gonads / eyes / skin
c. for ectopic / molar pregnancies - any products of conception, fallopian tubes.

*Gender of fetus is required for this test. Please state gender of fetus if known.
Please note that an additional charge will be imposed for gender determination if the gender is not specified.  

Specimen will be processed as received. 

Specimen Storage / Transport

Store specimen at room temperature. For after office hours, store at 4 - 8 oC in lab reception refrigerator.

Transport to laboratory as soon as possible.
