Whole bloodAge up to 2 years old: 3 – 5 mLAge 2 years old and above: 10 mL
Between 8.00 am to 9.00 am on Monday and Friday only, collect:1) 3 – 5 mL or 10 mL of fresh blood from patient and2) 10 mL of fresh blood from a healthy adult to be used as a control
* Specimen is not to be collected on Tuesday to Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, eve of public holidays and public holidays.* Specimen is not to be collected if a PH falls within the week due to test setup.

Keep specimen at room temperature. DO NOT send on ice or refrigerant. Despatch to KKH DPLM Client Services as soon as possible as blood must reach NUH Paediatric Allergy & Immunology Lab by 12 noon.
