Sodium heparin tube

Whole blood
Age up to 15 months old: 3 mL
Age 15 months old and above: 10 mL

Between 8.00 am to 9.00 am on Monday to Friday, collect:
1) 3 mL or 10 mL of fresh blood from patient and
2) 10 mL of fresh blood from a healthy adult to be used as control.

Keep specimen at room temperature. DO NOT send on ice or refrigerant. Despatch to KKH DPLM Client Services as soon as possible as blood must reach NUH Paediatric Allergy & Immunology Lab by 12 noon.
