Specimen Requirement	Specimen must be completely immersed in 10% buffered formalin, preferably fill the container to about 90%. Tissue should not occupy more than 20% of specimen bottle. For larger specimens, plastic bags should be used and tissue immersed in formalin at least 3 times the volume of tissue.
