Profile

Dr Chan Ching Yee graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2008. In her fourth year, she won the Singapore Society of Otorhinolaryngology book prize. She was placed on the Dean’s list in her final year. She also won the Singapore Medical Association Bronze Medal for being the second best student in class and the 2nd Mekie Book Prize for being the second best student in Surgery. She entered Otolaryngology residency in 2011.

As a resident, she played an active role in teaching the junior residents. She was chief resident in 2013 and was part of the first batch of Singapore Chief Residents. She received the outstanding resident award in 2012, 2013 and 2016. In 2015, she also received the outstanding chief resident award.

After graduating from residency, she joined the Department of Otolaryngology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2017 as Associate Consultant. She is physician mentor for the Singhealth Residency Leadership Program and won the You Shine award for her contributions. She was an invited speaker at the Duke-NUS education conference, Singapore Sleep Congress and ASEAN ORL conference. She has presented regionally and internationally and is first author of several journal articles.
