Dr Jessie Phoon is a Senior Consultant in Department of Reproductive Medicine under Division of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and an accredited IVF specialist and Director of KKIVF Centre in KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She obtained her specialist qualification from Master of Medicine, O&G (Singapore) together with the Member of Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists in 2011.
Besides clinical work, Dr Phoon is also very involved in teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate students. She chaired the MRCOG Part 2 exam course in 2014 and has conducted quite a few MRCOG courses for postgraduate exam candidates.
She has recently been appointed as Associate Program Director for SingHealth Obstetrics & Gynaecology residency program in July 2016.
She also performs the basic work of a general obstetrics & gynaecologist, ie, gynaecology clinics/ obstetrics/ O&G operative procedures and runs the subfertility clinic, performs IVF/ IUI reviews, performs IVF procedures (Oocyte pick-up & embryo transfer) and IUI procedures. Of late, she is involved in validation of ovarian tissue preservation service and hope to expand this service.
