Profile

Dr Joyce Lam Ching Mei is a Senior Consultant Haematologist and Head of the Haematology Laboratory and Blood Bank at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She has expertise in diagnostic haematology, cytopaenias, bleeding and clotting disorders in children and general paediatric oncology. Her research interests include outcome-based assessments in haemophilia, long-term clnical outcomes in thalassaemia and anticoagulation strategies in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. She is the Primary Investigator for a number of clinical trials in paediatric haemophilia and anticoagulation. She is also actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
