Profile

Dr Loh was appointed a Senior Consultant at KKH in 2023 after a period of 14 years as consultant in the UK. After initially qualifying in medicine in Ireland and subsequently obtaining a master’s degree in infectious disease from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, he then went on to complete a fellowship in endocrinology. Dr Loh completed higher specialist training in Bristol, followed by a neurology fellowship in Brisbane Australia. He was head of the largest Tuberous Sclerosis Centre in the UK for 8 years and instrumental in transforming the holistic delivery of multi-organ care. Currently Dr Loh runs the TSC clinic at KKH that offers coordination of complex multiorgan care, enabling patients to access treatment, diagnosis, second opinions and information at the same sitting. He continues to be active in collaborative TSC research.

Dr Loh also specializes in complex headache disorders and offers numerous neuromodulation treatment in his specialist headache clinic. He has lectured widely including the Royal Society of medicine and Royal College of Paediatrics events and was principle investigator for a number of migraine and epilepsy trials.
