Profile

Dr Mok Zhun Wei is an Associate Consultant with the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2012 and was selected to join the SingHealth Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency Programme. He was successfully admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) in 2020 and attained the Master of Medicine (MMED) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology the same year. He completed his Residency training and was subsequently accredited as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr Mok has published in both local and international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at multiple local and overseas conferences. He is a strong believer in improving the quality of care to patients on an institutional and personal level. He was instrumental as the team lead in spearheading a Quality Improvement Project to transit to hospital-wide Electronic Medical Records, and has more recently been involved in mobile applications for educational and triaging purposes for both junior clinicians and patients. He was awarded the Innovation and Development Grant and the Duke-NUS ACP Grant for the above.

Dr Mok strives to ensure that his patients receive holistic care that is in line with evidence-based medicine. This allows his patients to make well-informed choices on their treatments. Dr Mok’s bedside manner has been frequently complimented by patients and in recognition of this, he has been conferred the Singhealth Quality Service Award in 2020.

Dr Mok is also actively involved in undergraduate training and teaches students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, where he is an alumnus, and also students from the Duke NUS and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
