Profile

Dr Sandhya is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Neonatology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. She received her medical degree from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2012. She obtained her Masters of Medicine (Paediatrics) from National University of Singapore in 2016 and has been admitted as a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in United Kingdom. She completed her Paediatrics residency in 2023. Her interests in research include neonatal neurology and in improving neurodevelopmental outcomes in preterm and term neonates. She continues her interests in the teaching of junior trainees and is also actively engaged in Quality-Improvement projects to reduce the failure rates of difficult intravenous cannulations in the general paediatric wards at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
