Dr Shahani Jagdish Menghraj

About

Dr Shahani graduated with an MBBS and MD (Anesthesiology) from AIIMS, Delhi, India. He has practiced as an adult and paediatric anaesthestist for more than 34 years in multiple countries such as India, Australia, UK and Sri Lanka. To date he has spent over a decade in Singapore, working as senior consultant with the department of paediatric anaesthesia here at KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

His interests are in paediatric CPB (cardiopulmonary bypass), blood conservation strategies, and paediatric ECMO (extracoporeal membrane oxygenation). Over the course of his career he has established cardiac anaesthesia programs at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, Amrita Hospital, Cochin and Apollo Hospitals, Colombo.
