Profile

Dr Simon Ling MBBS FRACP is a Paediatric Neurologist at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. He undertook his medical training at The Universityof Melbourne and completed postgraduate specialist training in paediatric neurology at Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick. He has been working in the paediatrics department of KKH since 2007. In his clinical practice, he sees children with a wide variety of neurological problems and has a special interest in inflammatory central nervous conditions. He is certified in electroencephalography (EEG) and performs nerve conduction studies and needle electromyography (NCS & EMG) in children.

He incorporates a strong emphasis on education into his clinical practice of neurology and general paediatrics, teaching and training learners across the continuum. This includes medical students, postgraduate doctors, nursing and allied health professional colleagues. He holds academic appointments with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine National University of Singapore, Duke-NUS Medical school, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and is an Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI) Fellow.
