Clinical Asst Professor
Dr Timothy Tan is a Consultant Radiologist at the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, sub-specialising in paediatric imaging. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with Singhealth Duke-NUS Radiological Sciences ACP and Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore.
He received his medical degree from the University of Manchester, UK in 2015 and subsequently completed the Singhealth Diagnostic Radiology Residency programme in July 2023, obtaining both FRCR and MMed (Diagnostic Radiology) postgraduate degrees in 2021. He was awarded the College of Radiologists Singapore Gold Medal for being the top performing candidate at the Diagnostic Radiology certifying exam.
He also completed the NUS Master of Clinical Investigation degree programme in 2024 with support from the NMRC Research Training Fellowship. His research interests lie in the applications of artificial intelligence in radiology and imaging biomarkers in paediatric oncology.
He actively contributes to radiology resident education and was recognized through the RISE Outstanding Residency Faculty Awards consecutively in 2024 and 2025 for his dedication to education.
Dr Tan aims to advance paediatric imaging locally and regionally through impactful clinical and research collaborations.
