The Histopathology Laboratory provides a comprehensive diagnostic histopathology services for women and children covering the full range of gynaecological, obstetric, breast, perinatal and paediatric conditions. Specimen reporting is undertaken by subspecialty gynaecological, breast and paediatric pathologists. An extensive histochemical and immunohistochemistry test menu is available. A frozen section service for intra-operative consultation is available. Academic post-mortem examination of perinatal and neonatal deaths is available.
