Patient Status Updates

Updates on your patient's status can be found on the tv screen in the Day Surgery waiting area.

Status Guide

Pending

Patient is not here yet/ Awaiting to be registered/ Awaiting to be called in for pre-op preparation.

Patient Arrived

The patient has arrived in the ward for pre-operative assessment.

OT Reception

Patient is in the pre-operation area, getting ready to be brought into the operating theatre.

Patient Sent For

The patient will be transferred to the holding area at OT level 2 for further checks prior surgery.

In Induction Room

The patient has been transferred to a quiet waiting area near the operating room for final checks.

In Progress

Surgery is currently ongoing.

In PACU

The operation is completed, and the patient is being monitered in Recovery Ward (PACU - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit).

Discharged to Ward

Recovery at PACU is completed and patient is now resting at the stepdown ward and is soon to be ready for discharge.

Food and Refreshments

Take a short 5-min walk to enjoy some food and refreshments nearby.
