Prior to discharge, please use the following checklist to confirm your readiness:

I have collected all my belongings.

I feel well to go home (i.e. no dizziness, nausea, or excessive pain).

I have received my medications as per my prescriptions.

I have received instructions on the care of my surgical site.

I am aware of the symptoms to monitor.

I have a date for a follow-up appointment (if required).

I have been issued with a medical certificate or hospitalisation leave.

I know when and where to seek medical help should any concerns arise.
