Upon arrival, obtain a queue number at the kiosk for registration.
Upon completion of registration, patients will be provided with a wristband displaying their personal details and a Real-Time Location System (RTLS) tag
A pre-operation assessment and orientation will be conducted for all patients.
Patients will be provided a blue bag to store personal belongings. If necessary, pre-operative medication will be administered.
Patients will be transferred to a designated waiting area adjacent to the operating room for final assessment.
The surgical team will perform a final check to ensure all documentation is in order before proceeding with the operation.
Patients will be escorted into the operating theatre for their scheduled procedure.
Caregivers will receive updates upon completion of the operation.
Following surgery, patients will be closely monitored in the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) by the care team.
Caregivers may check the patient's status via the dashboard at the Day Surgery.
Once monitoring in the PACU has been completed, patients will be admitted to their designated wards (as per their chosen class).
Once patients have been transferred, the care team will notify caregivers of the ward and bed numbers. Patients are now discharged from the operating theatre department to their respective wards for continued care management.
